KS1 Christmas Concert

The infants are currently practising very hand for our Christmas Concert, 'The Tale of the Little Donkey.' As usual though, we need your help with costumes! Unless your child has a specific part, White Base (F1s and F2s) will be dressed as angels, Green Base will be dressed as shepherds or inn-keepers and Blue Base will be dressed as Kings/ Wise men. Narrators will be given a choice this year and can be any of the above. The children who have special paers will be told about their costumes individually. Please could all children bring their costumes in a named carrier bag.

Mission: Possible

In Year 5 we have been conducting a Secret Agent project called Mission: Possible.

We all dressed up as spies for the project and looked like mini James and Jeanette Bonds for the day! You might even have spotted us in the Free Press or the Armthorpe Gazette! Here are two pictures of us all in Spy mode...

Spy day Spy day all

This was our mission:

There is an organisation known as A.D.U.L.T.S. (Ageing Dudes that Usually Like To Shout) that are in need of our help. We have a common enemy - (B.U.G.S.) too small to see and known as bacteria. Some bacteria are friendly, others are not so friendly and if eaten they can make people feel poorly.Josh Bond spy4

First fill in your secret agent Identity Card and join Agent B. Clean and Agent B. Safe to find that pesky bug.

3 spies spy2

Before we can send you on your mission you will need to undergo training and complete a number of exercises. Each exercise will give you a letter to discover the name of the enemy bacteria in the picture...

GOOD LUCK!

Y5 spies Check out the pictures below of us having lots of fun being spies for the day. We found out lots of information about bacteria and even got to take swabs in our mum's kitchens! It was great!
